The Prime Minister has announced that every eligible adult over 18 will have a chance to get their Covid-19 booster dose by the New Year.
Every patient in South West Shropshire will get their chance to have a Covid-19 booster dose closer to home, with South West Shropshire Primary Care Network (SW Shropshire PCN) by the New Year.
We are running clinics offering you a first, second or third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine depending on your eligibility or a booster dose, at the following dates and venues:
Thursday, December 16th: 09.10-14.50 at the Mascall Centre, in Ludlow and 16.30-19.30 at Portcullis Surgery, in Ludlow - Pre-bookable
Saturday, December 18th: 09.00-18.00 at Ludlow Community Hospital - Pre-bookable
Sunday, December 19th: 09.00-18.00 at the Mascall Centre, in Ludlow - Pre-bookable

We are contacting anyone over 18 who is now eligible but if you are registered with any of our six practices - Bishops Castle, Church Stretton, Clun, Craven Arms and Portcullis and Station Drive surgeries in Ludlow - book your booster via your surgery! We shall add further clinics in the SW area shortly.
There is enough vaccine for all our patients.
There are also opportunities to get a vaccine or booster via walk-in and pop-up clinics and some local pharmacies in SW Shropshire.
Those who are aged 18 or over can now use the National Booking Service to find a vaccination site and book your booster. You can ring 61 days from your second Covid-19 vaccine in order to book your booster dose from 91 days.
Please follow the link below to find the walk-in and pop-up venues in your area as well as details about the different age groups who are eligible:
We all have a part to play by following the national guidelines on face masks, social distancing and hand sanitisation as well as stepping forward to get our vaccinations and/or booster dose in order to protect our population and our loved ones.
Thank you so much for your support and patience and stay safe.
